Our work in digital may theoretically all be possible to accomplish over the web, but in practice many of us travel a lot for our work on digital projects. We commute to work, visit clients, and fly to conferences. The carbon footprint of our travel can add up significantly and in some cases may be larger than the carbon footprint of the products we create.
Implementing an ambitious policy to use travel efficiently, especially reducing or eliminating air travel, is a powerful action to reduce the carbon impact of our work.
