Does the product or service design process account for human and non-human stakeholders?
Identifying stakeholders for a digital product or service becomes increasingly important as our projects impact more and more elements of society. Most UX design practices are understandably human-centered with a specific focus on target users. Not all stakeholders are human, however. Considering both the social and ecological impacts of our projects can help us mitigate potential adverse effects or unintended consequences before they become unwieldy.
